How long does it take to get used to new dentures?
Most people adapt within two to four weeks. Speech and chewing improve steadily, and a few small adjustment visits in the first month are normal and expected.
Can dentures be made more stable?
Yes. Two to four implants can be placed to lock the denture in place, which stops slipping and greatly improves chewing — especially for the lower jaw.
