Pediatric Dentistry questions
When should my child first see a dentist?
By the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits are mostly preventive and help your child get used to the clinic.
Do decayed milk teeth need treatment?
Yes. Milk teeth hold space for the permanent teeth and an untreated infection can affect the tooth developing underneath. Treating them early avoids bigger problems later.
